Happy Birthday Jeremy!! Last night, the whole fam, went to La Mesa to celebrate Jeremy's 28th birthday and had a great time. I cannot believe how fast the year's go by. I hope you had a wonderful birthday and I look forward to many more with you!! Love you babe!!

Halloween Turtle

This year Lexi wanted to be a turtle for Halloween, so we went to Target and luckily we found the perfect costume for her! She looked absolutely adorable!! As you can see she was very shy in some of the pictures! She turned out to be a "nappin" turtle instead of a "snappin" turtle!!

Rangers Game!!!

Wow! What a fantastic game! I have never been to a more exciting game! It was so incredibly loud and the fans were so into it. Jeremy and I just decided to go look for tickets after work and we found some in the lower homerun porch about 12 rows up. Our seats were right behind the bullpen, which was very fun to watch. It was such an overall neat experience and exciting to know that we were there when history was made!

October 1st was my 26th birthday! The family all got together and went to one of my favorite places to eat "Chicken Express"!! I always love spending time with my family! It was a great night! Love you guys!

Mark's 29th Birthday!

What a wonderful birthday night! We all went to Babe's Chicken Dinner House in Frisco! I had never been there before and it was absolutely wonderful! We had lots of chicken tenders, smoked chicken, pot roast, and all the sides we wanted! We all left there stuffed to say the least! Mark had to get up and do the chicken dance in front of the entire restaurant! It was absolutely hilarious! We got pictures to prove it! It was such a great night! Hope you had a fabulous birthday night Mark!!

Mexico Trip

This summer Jeremy and I went with a group of friends to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. One of Jeremy's friends has a house on the beach down there where we stayed. It was such a relaxing vacation. The sights were unbelieveable and the sounds of the Pacific hitting the shore were amazing. I loved every minute of it and cannot wait to go back.

This is the house that we stayed in. We had the whole bottom floor to ourselves. The house had 4 different floors.

This is the view from our private outdoor cabana. I would go out here often and sit in the rocking chairs for hours just listening to the waves crash onto shore.

This is a snake that is made entirely of rocks. It is very cool!

Surprise Visitors!!!

Today started out like any other day. I got ready to run some errands and took Lexi out to go potty before I left. We were heading back into the house when Lexi came to an abrupt halt and began growling towards the backyard. At this point I am at the house by myself because Jeremy is already at work. I thought it was the dogs next door galloping over to play with Lexi. She gets very scared when they come over to play because they are about 5 times the size of her. (One of them put their front paws on my mom's shoulders and it was as tall as she was-Ha! Ha!) So I go into my "protector mom mode" and prepare to grab Lexi and run into the house. When I grab Lexi I look up and there is a cow staring Lexi and I down right by my garage.

So, Lexi and I run into the house and I grab the camera. I just love cows and bulls and I was so excited that they were in my front and backyard. So I start snapping pictures and having the time of my life because they are close enough to pet. Then they all start moving toward the front yard towards the street. Well, at this point playtime is over and I need to somehow keep these cows out of the street because people fly down Farmington Road. So, I call Jeremy and ask what I need to do because he always has the answers. He says, "Hold on and I will call Brad (his brother)". He calls me back and says, "Brad is in Pilot Point, so you need to go round them out of the road". Knowing that I would not be able to do this, I decide to run up the street where I saw the cows the other day to tell the people that their cows are out. They inform me that those are not their cows and the owner of the cows does not even live here. So, Jeremy tells me to call the police and they can figure out whose cows they are and they can round them up out of the road. The policeman comes to the house and rounds the cows up into the field back behind our property.

I left to run my errands and I am guessing he figured out where the cows home was because they were not playing in my yard or in the street when I returned. What a day!! Maybe it was a sign that I need to get some cows of my own. I doubt that Jeremy will go for that one. Ha!! Anyway, it was fun while it lasted and who knows, maybe they will come to visit again!!!

Lexi's 4th Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to my baby girl! She is 4 years old now! She had a great birthday party and she loved her new whale and green bobo toy. She loved her steak bites for her birthday dinner and her "chocolate chip cookies" (doggy brand) for dessert. Notice the last picture when she licked her plate clean and still wanted more!! She is the best dog in the whole world and she has been such a joy to Jeremy and I. Happy Birthday Lexi Gnarles!!

4 Year Wedding Anniversary

On June 2nd, Jeremy and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary. I cannot believe how time goes by so fast. It seems like yesterday that Jeremy was coming to pick me up for dates at my parent's house. These past 4 years have been so incredible. God truly knew what he was doing when he put Jeremy and I together. We complement each other so well. I know that I am the luckiest girl in the whole world to have Jeremy as a husband. He loves God, he is calm, comforting, loving, a little on the edge (bought a motorcycle), spontaneous, a hard worker, and my best friend. I have enjoyed every minute of it and look forward to many more wonderful years together!!

"Two Remarkable Granny's"

Within the past 2 weeks, Jeremy and I have dealt with the loss of both of our Granny's. On May 29th, Jeremy's granny, Georgie Grimes went to be with the Lord. June 11th was the 1 year anniversary of the passing of my granny, Marjorie Barnes. Months after Marjorie was buried, there was a heart left above her grave in the dirt. The picture below shows the heart, we believe was sent from Granny, to show her love and to tell us that eveything is ok. These were two of the most remarkable, inspiring, and loving women I have ever met. They both meant so much to Jeremy and I and we will always cherish the moments that we had with each of them.

Marjorie and Georgie had the chance to meet several times throughout their lives and they always hit it off like they had known each other for years. They could carry on conversations forever and they would always ask about each other when we saw them. It is like they had been best friends for life. I know now that they are both up in Heaven watching the Texas Rangers and talking non-stop. They both loved, loved, loved watching the Texas Rangers. They each had such a love for life and valued their family so much. Everytime I was around either of these "Granny's", I felt so loved. I will miss them so very much until I see them again in Heaven.

Jeremy's Granny's 90th Birthday!

This weekend we went to Jeremy's Granny's 90th birthday surprise party! She was so surprised and she looked absolutely beautiful! There were so many of her friends and family that showed up. It was a great time to catch up with those we have not seen lately and to see Granny so excited during this special time!

The Big Texan

This past weekend Jeremy and I went with his parents to The Big Texan in Amarillo. I had never been before and it was a really neat experience. The food was absolutely delicious! I think my steak was the size of my head, but I took it on and finished it all! The Big Texan is known for its 72 oz. FREE steak (but you must eat all of the 72 oz. steak, a dinner salad, fried shrimp, roll, and a huge baked potato)and you get it FREE IF you eat all of the food in 1 hour. There was a guy who finished it all in about 30 minutes and then ordered a huge dessert after he finished all of his dinner. It was amazing to watch him inhale all of that food without throwing it all up. It was a great trip and I enjoyed every minute of it! Can't wait till next time!

"Red neck" the Snowman

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! The snow was absolutely beautiful! Jeremy and I had such a great time building a snowman. I was the packer of snow and Jeremy was the carver!!(with a machete) Lexi just decided to stay in the warm house until it was all finished. As you can see in the picture she did not want her little paws to touch the snow even when going to the bathroom. It is just too cold for a precious baby like her! We had such a blast!!

Christmas 2009

Wow, I can't believe how fast Christmas flew by. We enjoyed spending time with our families, opening presents, cooking, and playing Rock Band-(thanks Mark)! We truly enjoyed every minute with our families and also the beautiful snow! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your family and we wish you a very happy New Year!

Thanksgiving

Last Sunday we had our Blevins Thanksgiving lunch at my house. We had such a great time. We had wonderful food and enjoyed the beautiful weather. It was nice getting to spend time with those we don't get to see that often. I am so thankful for my awesome family!!

Texas State Fair!!

Jeremy took me to the State Fair for my birthday. He had never been before and he really enjoyed it. The weather was beautiful and it was not that crowded. We rode the SkyWay, saw Big Tex, went to the car shows, and saw some neat birds at the bird show! We loved it and can't wait till next year!

Mom, Dad, Jeremy, and I all went fishing at Lake Texoma! It was so nice to get away and just relax. Plus, we all caught some fish, so that made it even better! It is just what we all needed!!

On June 2, 2009, Jeremy and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary! For every year we have been married, we have to add another layer to the cake, so this year we added cupcakes for our top layer!! It was so yummy good! It has been the best 3 years of my life. I am married to the most wonderful man in the whole world! I thank God everyday for our awesome relationship!

We all had such a blast! We all stayed the night at the Baptist camp grounds on Lake Texoma. We had so much fun fishing, making smores, and just relaxing around the campfire. Thanks mom and dad! Jeremy and I had such a great weekend. Can't wait to do it again!
